Dear Friends & Colleagues,
Like many of you, I have been inundated with the news coverage surrounding the development and international outbreak of COVID-19.
While we are monitoring the situation each and every day, our operations are continuing to function accordingly to fulfill existing orders, accept new orders and plan for a successful future with our brand partners and global supply chain. We do this with the health and safety of our team members as the top priority. We will not compromise the safety of our employees, their families or ours. We have implemented strict cleaning schedules above our already daily full facility cleanings. We have placed new schedules of additional cleanings every 3 hours on top of our already rigorous cleanings.
Our manufacturing facility operates according all safety and health guidelines of Utah Department of agriculture, FDA and other regulatory requirements we have. Our staff continue to wear lab coats, hair and beard nets, medical gloves and other required safety uniforms.
Today Utah and Salt Lake County mandated (Governor Herbert is supposedly repealing this today) no more than 10 people (employees) in a building. We have spoken to our managers and line staff and worked out a schedule that would provide all employees their hours without being cut and add more production hours than normal. Based on our new schedule we will continue operations faster than normal in house. We of course will continue to watch what our supply vendors and shippers (Fedex, UPS and USPS) do with their schedules for pickups and deliveries.
This past Tuesday Utah experienced a 5.7 earthquake along with over 90+ aftershocks and many to be above 3.0. Our shipping vendors Fedex, UPS and USPS had changed schedules and they may continue to have to change due to Utah environment and with the Covid-19 outbreak. We only were delayed one day of shipping from this. We all need to be aware of this and be patient with small delays that could come due to other restrictions.
As of today we have no notice of other changes within our vendors or shipping vendors of significant changes. We will proceed as normal until we update. We thank all of our clients for their continuous support as we as a nation navigate the current health crisis within the world.
Thank you for years of support
